Life Drawing – Spring Term

lifedrawingsummerschoolA monthly class concerned with the importance of observation of the human figure. You will work directly from the life model with artist, Tony Tribe, on hand to provide individual guidance.

The course will equip you with the technical and perceptual skills to competently render the human figure. Each session will feature a long pose of two or three hours length, although shorter poses are always incorporated into the day. Students will be introduced to key areas of life drawing: measuring, proportion, anatomy, line, tone and mass.

Suitable for all abilities. Places fill up quickly, early booking is advised.

Please bring a packed lunch, materials and drawing board if you have one.

SATURDAYS, 10am – 3pm

Pottery Taster Session

Martin Craddock will be running a special Pottery Taster Session on November 3rd 2pm-5pm for those who are interested in attending seasonal Pottery Classes at Arts Alive Wales.

This will be a chance to work alongside Martin, our trained potter and tutor who will be providing guidance working with clay through coiling, slabbing and press-moulded dish making. Come and see the space, and get to know us as an organisation.

There will be a small fee to cover the cost of the materials of £5.
