Festive Felt

Join textile artist Emma Bevan of Ffolky Ffelt to make festive felt baubles and gift pouches to hang on your Christmas tree! Emma will show you each step of the wet felting process, using natural Welsh wools in an array of colours. Allen Fisher [gallery ids="12948,12944,12947,12946,12942,12941"] Allen Fisher has created a new collection of paintings on y Waen Ddu, the Black Bog – a rare raised peat bog situated on the Craig Y Cilau nature reserve in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The artist is drawn to the cultural associations of peat bogs as sites of Iron Age sacrifice, preservation and divination as well as their ecological importance as rich environments of biodiversity and carbon capture. To celebrate our charity's 30th year and contribute to our 2018 fundraising appeal, we invite you to attend Peak's Art Auction in the Ballroom of the Angel Hotel, Abergavenny on Friday 2nd March. The event will be an opportunity to buy original artwork by professional artists that deliver Peak's creative programme, as well as a great evening out. The auction ticket price of £40 (discounted to £35 per person for groups of four or more) covers the running costs of the event including a drinks reception and tapas supper.
