ART AUCTION 2015

FRIDAY 6 MARCH 2015, 7pm The Ballroom, The Angel Hotel, Abergavenny     Our 2015 Art Auction takes place on Friday 6th March at 7pm.  This biennial event raises money for our community projects with vulnerable groups and individuals, show-cases the talents of leading contemporary artists in Wales, as well as being a lively and fun evening for our guests in the elegant surroundings of The Angel Hotel Ballroom. TRAINING – Safeguarding Awareness

Miranda Thomason will lead a practical and informative workshop focused on safeguarding policy and procedure for arts practitioners who work with children, young people and vulnerbale adults. The workshop will be delivered in the context of the work Arts Alive Wales delivers and will cover: - Arts Alive Wales safeguarding policy - Confidentiality - The principles of safeguarding, including what we mean by the terms 'vulnerable' and  'abuse' and how to deal with disclosures or concerns. - Establishing a non-judgmental approach Saturday 14th March, 10am - 12:30pm £10 per person. CREATIVE NETWORK – mini fund

Members of the Creative Network are invited to apply for a £300 ‘mini-fund’ to produce new work. We want to hear about your idea for a new project, publication, performance, collaboration, exhibition or body of work.
