Creative Network: MINI FUND

The Creative Network supports arts practitioners through opportunities for collaboration, discussion, promotion and training. The Creative Network is focused (although not exclusively) on the Black Mountains and surrounding areas and currently has 90 members including artists, makers, writers, theatre practitioners, producers, illustrators and photographers. Members of the Creative Network are invited to apply for a £300 ‘mini-fund’ to produce new work. Creative Network: PRINTMAKERS

This autumn the Creative Network will pilot monthly printmaking sessions to enable members to use the Arts Alive Wales studio and printing press for their own work. Creative Network: FILM NIGHT

OF HORSES AND MEN 2013. 80 mins. Icelandic drama written and directed by Benedikt Erlingsson Artist Sarah Rhys selects Of Horses and Men for the Creative Network's film night. This short Icelandic film of six interlocking fables was originally called ‘Hross i Oss', meaning Horse in Us. The small close-knit Icelandic community share a life with their fellow horses which are an integral part of their life.
