Film Night - Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow Artist Sarah Rhys selects the first of our film nights, with a screening of Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow, a documentary from director Sophie Fiennes, about the German industrial artist Anselm Keifer and his hill studio estate in the South of France.     Wednesday 28th Janauary, 7-9pm, Arts Alive Wales, Crickhowell FREE for members of the Creative Network only. Exploring creativity through mark making. Artist Pip Woolf delivers an experimental drawing workshop based on the themes and concerns of her artistic practice.   Pip  is a visual artist with a background in environmental interpretation. Her work is embedded in her landscape and community and explores our place on the planet focusing on a combination of practical, physical, emotional, political and philosophical questions. TRAINING – Safeguarding Awareness

Miranda Thomason will lead a practical and informative workshop focused on safeguarding policy and procedure for arts practitioners who work with children, young people and vulnerbale adults. The workshop will be delivered in the context of the work Arts Alive Wales delivers and will cover: - Arts Alive Wales safeguarding policy - Confidentiality - The principles of safeguarding, including what we mean by the terms 'vulnerable' and  'abuse' and how to deal with disclosures or concerns. - Establishing a non-judgmental approach Saturday 14th March, 10am - 12:30pm £10 per person. We want to hear about your idea for a new project, publication, performance, collaboration, exhibition or body of work.
