Informative and sociable meetings for local artists, makers & writers.
Join Arts Alive Wales for our bi-monthly networking meetings at our studio in Crickhowell. These supportive meetings enable local artists and students of all disciplines to come together in a relaxed setting, with plenty of tea and cake, to discuss their own creative practice, share experiences, news and opportunities.
FREE to attend – but please let us know if you’re coming. Email: info@artsalivewales.org.uk
Refreshments provided.
Next Meeting: Wednesday 15th May, 5-7pm
Guest Speaker: Writer, Tom Bullough
Tom Bullough grew up on a hill farm in Radnorshire and now lives and works in the Brecon Beacons. He is the author of three novels – A, The Claude Glass and, most recently, Konstantin, a fictionalised account of the early life of the Russian space pioneer Konstantin Tsiolkovsky.
Tom will be talking particularly about his current project, a novel set over seventy years on a farm in the Welsh borders.
