About Us

Arts Alive Wales is an educational arts charity based in Crickhowell, South Powys. We are driven by a passion for using the arts to engage, inspire, and enhance the quality of life of people in our local communities. We work across Mid and South East Wales with professional artists to provide opportunities for active participation in the arts, particularly for children, young people and vulnerable groups. Recent project partners include MIND, Young Carers, Women’s Aid, Monmouthshire Housing Association, the Alzheimer’s Society and Powys Youth Service.

Over a period of more than 20 years, Arts Alive Wales has earned a reputation for the quality of its work in the arts, particularly the visual and applied arts. This remains the foundation of a wide-ranging programme of activity, both at our studio venue in Crickhowell and in the community.
