Green Fire Uplands has worked closely with The Maendu Well Conservation Group this Spring/Summer. Together we hosted a Spring Festival back in March, several Umbul Umbul flag workshops and a very successful Summer Festival on July 11th.

Mae Uwchdiroedd Tân Gwyrdd wedi gweithio’n agos gyda Grwp Cadwraeth Ffynnon Maendu y gwanwyn/haf hwn. Gyda’n gilydd fe wnaethom ni gynnal Gwyl Gwanwyn yn ôl ym mis Mawrth, sawl gweithdy fflag Umbul Umbul a Gwyl Haf lwyddiannus iawn Gorffennaf 11.

Jemma Bere of The Maendu Well Conservation group said ‘The flags that were created with the help of local residents and local artist, Tessa Waite, were unveiled at the festival and they were stunning! Children enjoyed working on the final flag for Maendu Well at the festival and it was fantastic to see so many children (and adults!) getting stuck in! We’d like to say a huge thank you to Arts Alive for all their hard work and support over the past few months.’

As the Green Fire Project is reaching it’s end, Arts Alive Wales would like to thank The Maendu Well Conservation Group for all their hard work. It has been a pleasure to work with the group. Maendu Well is a special site that should be nurtured for future generations to enjoy.

Thank you again and we hope you have enjoyed working on Arts Alive Wales’ Green Fire Project!

Diolch eto a gobeithiwn eich bod wedi mwynhau gweithio ar Brosiect Tân Gwyrdd Arts Alive Cymru!
