A member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, Spowers works with a wide range of materials to explore concepts and structures, from the fluidity of water to the notion of disconnection and displacement. She has exhibited widely, and taken on commissions and residencies both in the UK, and notably in an International Sculpture Park in Lithuania.
Her work involves collaboration with schools and local communities, and also features a strong environmental and sustainability element. Among other arts societies, Spowers is also a Member of the Welsh group, the 56 group, Sculpture Cymru, Sculpture Network and she is represented by jaggedart, London.
The private view of Small & Sundry will be held on the opening evening of the exhibition from 7pm.
